The salmo trout are put into the sea in April, at that time the fish weigh approximately
6-800 gr. In September the fish have grown to be optimum weight and colour for
slaughtering.
The salmon trout are closely observed all year round because of their sensivity towards
the fluctuations in water temperature.
The salmon trout are mainly used for smoking because of the good meat colour, but can also
be used for cooking and sliced into fillets steaks and portions.
